I took part in 3 shows in college, which we've been working on for 3-4 months and it's sadly over. It's an Abridged version of Romeo and Juliet with a pirate theme and boy it was good in all three shows. I only wish we could do a few more shows but alas that's life I guess. We used the original Shakespeare script as the base of the show and used the most important bits of it for the show.
I played Tybalt and sweet God I loved it, as did everyone else with their character and the audience loved the shows as well! Everyone thought the over-dramatic nurse was the best based on the laughter from the crowd.
Overall it was a brilliant show night(s) and I wish we could do it one more time. I sadly had a nose bleed a few minutes before the start of the show but it stopped and then I got a small cut when sliding around and battled through the pain.
Now here's to the future if I get onto the next course in college next year!
