I'm already convinced I'm going off the deep end, but maybe this time it isn't just me- Are Kit Kats not as good as they used to be?
i havent had a kit kat in a while
i like pussy cat bars, the beer can be expensive but the servers are sure purty

Matt and I were wishing last night we'd bought Twix for Halloween. But it's nice to know I'm NOT crazy.
I divvied up our leftover candy. All the stuff we didn't want and then half of what we did went with him to the work. The rest we kept.
I hadn't noticed about Tootsie Pops. Of course, I've grown, so it felt natural.
I have noticed the shrink/cheapen/over-charge phenomenon though. I remember being able to buy a 20 oz BOTTLE of soda for less than a buck in middle school. Insane. And it's not just inflation because I saw a Pizza Hut ad the other day from the 90s that advertised a large for $12, which is about on par with today's prices, shockingly enough.
We bought good candy. 4 bags worth. Twix, Kit-kat, Almond Joy & Peanut M&M. We had 2 trick or treaters. Lots of candy left.

Went looking for it recently from one of those "classic candy" sites that specialize in this stuff.... it's gone for good.

Paydays are still around. I even hear they have a candy bar out to honor it.
My wife handed me a hand full of candy corn & peanuts & told be to eat several of each at once and see what I thought of. Tasted just like a payday bar.
They never crunch loud I think they taste the same, to me anyway

We went cheap and did Dollar Tree.
But they did have Snickers, Tootsie Pops, Butterfingers and some other familiar stuff along with the cheapie stuff. We kept grabbing more, scared we'd run out too early. HA! Lesson learned.
