I am so ready

for the world series to be over. I used to follow baseball but between all the strikes and stuff over the years I find I cannot watch baseball anymore. It is slow, ploddingly slow. I have not watched the first out of this series and am ready to have Fox back.

I'm not big on baseball on tv. For me, it's more of an atmosphere type thing. I love going, but hate watching at home. Same with basketball and hockey.

when the Red Sox and Yankees played in 2004 I remember many times almost falling asleep at work.....Dunkin Donuts never had enough coffee....I think now I am finally back on a normal sleep rotation....

I am a very big baseball fan but it's going into game 6 tonight and even I get antsy when it gets that far. I was actually thinking about this in the car last night. Why is baseball the only sport that has a multi-day big game. Football, soccer, basketball, it's all just one game and whoever wins, wins.

Basketball is a best of series like baseball. I just can't sit thru baseball anymore. I miss a lot of what Fox produces while they are running the baseball games.

I know they have a playoff system, most sports do, I'm talking about the final game. Minus basketball because I obviously don't know much about it

It irritates the crap outta me that baseball never seems to stop. Baseball is going on something like 10 months out of the year. The other 2 months outta the year all you hear is who's being traded or moving where.

Baseball is about 6 weeks too long though. It should be over by the 2nd week of October and start about the middle of May or so.

Baseball is not a cold weather sport. Anybody who plays knows that hitting a baseball in cold weather is no fun.

I went to a lot of games as a teenager and into my early 20's. The flow of the game was much better. Then have let it drag on far too long. The other sports are doing the same and if they keep it up people are gonna tune out.
