I am now officially night person

I actually don't need "help" staying awake at night. It just comes naturally. :D
Same here. The only time I need help is if I've been up most of the day. For instance, the day Jaxon was born I got off work at 0530 hrs that morning, went to the gym, and then came home and went to bed around 0730 hrs. I got up at 0945 hrs and headed up to the hospital...ended up staying there all day since Jaxon wasn't quite ready to come out and play early in the day. That night I drank a whole pot of coffee, LOL

That reminds me of this one time when I was working nights on the farm in Kentucky. The shifts were 6pm to 6am. I got up Saturday at 5pm and went to work for the night. Got home the next morning, relaxed a little, showered and then went to church. I got home at 12:30pm and then promptly locked my keys in the car. So I couldn't get into my car and I couldn't get into my house trailer. I can't remember where I was or what I did that afternoon but I had to wait until 5pm for my friend to get off work. She managed to break into my house trailer using a butter knife on the back door lock. :ninja I think I finallly got into bed at 6pm so I was up for 25 hours. Not kind. Thank goodness I had that night off. free-happy-smileys-839.png

LOL...that sucks!!! When I was in EMT school I gave my instructor my work schedule so we could work in my clinical rotations on days that didn't immediately follow a work day for me (b/c I get off at 0530 hrs and we had to be on the ambulance at 0700 hrs until 1900 hrs that night). Apparently one day got mixed up and I ended up having to rush home from work, change into my clinical uniform, grab some coffee and then head up to jump on the ambulance (a 30 minute drive for me). By the time I got off the truck (I was late b/c we got a stroke call 10 minutes before we were supposed to get off) I had been up for something like 29 hours. I was so tired that I actually fell asleep sitting up in the back of the ambulance RUNNING LIGHTS AND SIRENS to a call!!! LOL
