I'm not hating on the Movie itself... Will Smith is one of my favourite actors! His work is great... and he was definetly the man for this particular movie.

But I think Francis Lawrence could have done abit more with the film. Expanding on the story line a little better.

It seemed to start and end just like that! ... I suppose that's the sign of a good movie.

Well I'm not really one for change... so I'm likely to be posting and responding to posts as I have been today for my entire stay here.

I say that now... but I know the way people post changes as they get more imbedded in the community.

Okay, I finished the movie.....


Let me just say that first off, I loved the movie....HOWEVER!

I bawled like a little youngin' at the dog part....and again when he was sitting in the tub after the people got there....

And the end pissed me off! But all in all I thought it was a good movie!

Most people hated it because they didn't understand it. Robert had been living there for so damn long, and now that he had the cure finally, he was done, he finished his work, and he just wanted to join his family and dog.

I started watching it last night and I'm about to watch the rest now...I like it so far, I love Will Smith as an actor!

Nah, it's actually based off of an older book, and it's loosely based on The Omega Man.

Anyone else notice all the butterfly images, some in plain view and some very latent? My wife mentioned it later and I was like "what...?"

Also anyone else notice posters for a Batman vs. Superman movie in Times Square as well as a Green Lantern movie?

I saw the butterflies. It was basically the whole line his daughter mentioned. "Daddy, look at the butterflies!". I don't see why that was important, but they felt the need to mention it again at the end. I saw the one in the cracked glass, and I forgot where the other one was. I saw the Batman Vs. Superman, but not Green Lantern. But I'd be hyped for both movies!

I still stand by my expression that I loved this movie very much!

Nah, it's actually based off of an older book, and it's loosely based on The Omega Man.

This was the third movie made based on that book. The first one was a 1964 movie called "The Last Man on Earth" starring Vincent Price.

The book was good but I liked the Will Smith movie better.
