I absolutely hate snow BUT

I love the snow! Forecasts aren't to be believed a lot of the time. But if they suggest lots of snow and treacherous roads.... I stay put. No sense taking chances.

Here... It's gonna be a White Christmas! :D

There has been about 8-10" of snow on the ground here from our last snow storm. We're supposed to be getting an inch or two each day through Christmas from what the radio has been reporting.

hating snow, eh? lets list some states where you could move to that doesn't have as much snow as Maine.
Starting in the East coast....
Maine, that won't do you live there...
Vermont, nope too close to Maine
New Hampshire, nope still part of the New England Belt
Massachusetts, nope you still got snow
Connecticut, damn this is getting tough (you sure you want to move?)
Rhode Island small state, but on the water, you get some snow but not a lot
New York, forget it they get blasted as much as New England, but hey you are getting out of the region now....
Pennsylvania, they get their fare share of snow as well, still cold nights don't help much either
New Jersey, hm they get snow too unfortunately and they are on the water too...
Delaware getting warmer, but not too much warmer
Virgina..ahh almost in the South you might get a few snow storms a year
West Virgina, more inland than ya think and snow is prevalent there too...
North Carolina, Dixie Land, where they put coats on when the temperature dips below 50..you might like it here, but there is that hurricane thing to be worried about and the Duke Blue Devils and sometimes it gets a little too hot here...
South Carolina, watch out for those hurricanes again and the humidity may get to you as well....
Georgia, home of Veronica, Natasha and Jersey...no problems here, but the heat may melt you
Florida, home of Mickey Mouse and all things Disney....hurricanes are a big worry here......

should I go on?

Some of us who don't have the fund to move have to settle for bitching about the snow. Unlike you I don't have the luxury of taking my two year old Lexus and driving to sunnier shores.
