I know it had gray/white hair, same as her dad, which is why I thought it was him out the corner of my eye. I didn't get a good look since it was dark and I had just woken up.

Ah right, yeah, could have been anyone then, but strange though to know there was no way out of where he walked to after you saw him.

Oh, so now you're calling him old? The only people that could be mistaken for my dad would be one brother of his and his dad. Both died years ago and Donnie never met either one.

I wouldn't mind so much, having it/them in my house, but I just wish that when at times I leave my washing up if no time before I go out, that they would bloody well wash up by the time I got back at least - bloody lazy so and so's!!!!!! lol ;)

Oh, so that could have been possible then for it to have been one or the other of them.

That's the sort of times that I meant when I said about feeling comforted sometimes by the goings on in my house. Do you feel comforted by that, or did yr brother feel that about that situation? :)

I've never actually asked my brother how he feels about it. It gave me hope that maybe there is something after life. Of course, it could have been something completely mundane too.

Humm, I s'pose it could be something mundane. I get comforted some days, not so much knowing there must be something there after death, but just when I am having a bad day for instance and something happens in the house (less subtle than the banging I heard this morning), it kinda makes me feel there's some empathy for me in a way, so it comforts me. :)

Im never gonna sleep tonight after reading all of this! After losing someone I love, this is my next biggest fear. I am scared to death that I will see a ghost. Almost everyone in my family has seen a "ghost" at my parents house in NJ. That ghost must like me and not showed her face around me, because she knew I would die of a heart attack!

I want to see one in person face to face. 1 was out the corner of my eye and the other one showed up on the thermal goggles...

when i was in the bahamas with my ex- we had gone to sleep, and both of us woke at the same time because we heard the door beep (the sound it makes when you use your key card to get in) and saw someone that looked they were in an old fahioned maid's uniform walk into the bathroom. he starts screaming at her to get out of our room, and runs into the bathroom... no one there... :dunno

I seriously think I will die if I ever see one. I am that affraid. Ill have John explain the storys of what went on in our house. But heres one that happened years ago.

When my brother was younger he had one of his friends sleep over on a school night. It was about 6 am and still dark outside. They were sitting at the kitchen table, all ready for school. Then they hear these loud stomping footsteps down the hallway. They assumed it was my mom getting mad at them thinking they wernt up for school yet. They turned to look down the hallway and they saw this "black thing" run in the hallway. Thats how they describe it to this day. Anyway... Im glad I slept thru that one. :)

Yeah, my son's seen and heard, whereas I've only heard them. Except once, have seen sort of half a one.

Have had the tap on the shoulder when on my own at home - that's been a couple of times. Then I have had my face stroked and my hair stroked and then I found out it was on the night my uncle had died, but didn't get told that til 3 days later, I didn't know he had died.

A black thing!? Then what happened, did it just fade into the walls Suzie?

The reason I ask, is b/c my son was in bed one night and then he yelled down to me all of a sudden that something black had pounced off the end of his bed, then landed on the floor but it was no-where to be seen......

They say Suzie, that if you are scared of that kinda thing, then it won't happen to you, so you should be ok. :)

Well in that house there is a doorway in the hallway and that is where they saw it. So by time they went to see what was going on the black thing was gone. It was heading towards the front of our house.
John doesnt believe in ghosts at all... so whenever he hears a story, he always has some kind of explanation for it. When the tvs would turn on and off at our house in NJ, he would say its some kind of electrical thing. My dad had his own carpet business...so he had this big machine that would lift up huge rolls of carpet in our backyard. The machine turned on by itself one day...with no key in it. There is also some kind of story that I wont be able to tell right. But we had a pool table and my dad was downstairs playing it and he said something happened with the pool balls that is nearly impossible when coming out of the holes. :wtf: Ill have to have him tell me the story again....since Im all kinds of screwing it up now!!!:smiley24:
