True. Springsteen definitely stands out in the 90s. I think he was even better in the 90s, though he may have been more popular in the 80s. Most of the other bands you mentioned didn't break any ground. They weren't bad bands. I like Blind Melon, Radiohead, and REM, but I wouldn't call them legendary by any means.

A large part of the last 2 decades of music has been senseless shit, especially since 2000. It's not hard to see why you have an affinity for 60s music. Oh, and thanks to Alexis for the Beatles byte. They're the epitome of how diverse a single band can be in a single decade. Truly, musical geniuses.
Music has been the absolute shitz since disco began. It will never be the same. I blame it all on those YMCA fucktards.
