How Would You Improve British Law?

And before any one jumps on the "I'm not from the USA so I must hate the USA" bandwagon, I'm asking this as a genuine question. I will probably disagree with a lot put forward but will give rational and statistical reasons why. I'd love though to hear some refreshing ideas from a country with a different out look to mine. Sound fair enough? Good! Lets go...

Tighten up imigration laws to start with.

The one that most British agree with. Fact is, we are in the EU, leaving would be devestating for the economy and as for the rest, it's really not nearlly a big a problem as the media would like to make out. I am proud that the UK is a country who will take in people from seriously repressed countries for their own safety

I have seen British people upset with foreigners....losing heritage sort of thing....I can relate. I have no problems with foreigners that come to America to be American..I do have a problem with them bringing their baggage {as in culture} with them..if they hated it so much to leave then why carry it? They could at least try to be American. If I went to Britain I will try to be British..My accent will be different as well as some habits..but I will make it...rather than try to make the Brits American....We have people from the Mideast here that want to have the Mideast in America...We dont need Pakistan culture here nor Iraqi ..one should live the culture of the land he moves to.

I'm ignorant about British Laws. Maybe you could enlighten us with what you think is currently wrong. What about the social safety net?

On this side of the pond, we are constantly inundated with conservative anti-socialism retoric while fingers are pointed at Canada and England. The sad truth this that most of including the 1% (with their cushy tax breaks) are all ready on some level of the dole.
