Dealing with a narcissistic parent, sibling, or relative can be draining. Have you ever had to manage toxic family dynamics? How do you set boundaries while keeping your peace? When is it best to cut ties? Ever had to handle difficult family members, how did you do it?

Dealing with a narcissistic family member is tough, but I set firm boundaries and avoid emotional triggers. I remind myself that I can’t change them, so I focus on protecting my peace. Limiting interactions, practicing self-care, and seeking support help me stay grounded.

You can't deal with a narcissistic family member. Even if you treat him in a good way, you will not get any good results. You do have to cut ties if they are making fun of you in front of people.

Limits are there for a reason. I avoid those who think the world revolves around them.

I limit emotional reactions, and avoid arguing. I focus on protecting my peace, seek support from friends or therapy, and remind myself I can’t change them, only how I respond.
