Over here, we don't refer to ourselves as Hawaiian. In fact, 99% of Hawaii is not of Hawaiian ancestry, in any way. They are Japanese, but I can guarantee neither of them speak Japanese, and certainly not as a first language. Besides, I know what high school these kids went to.
