How much "stuff" do you have?

Does you place look more like this:

Or this:

Not the messy/tidy aspect, but the sheer volume of stuff.

I'm started to feel like I own WAY too much stuff. (FTR, neither of those pictures is from my place. I'd totally claim the first, though!)

our "stuff" is spread throughout the house that I would not say it is at all cluttered, but we should downsize a few things...I know my biggest offense is buying a tee shirt whenever we goto concerts, new cities, etc.

T-shirt quilt!!!! That would totally help without having to get rid of anything.

I finally got rid of all my CD cases- the actual discs were in a binder. Matt's pushing to get rid of the DVD cases, but I like having my little collection on display. I think if we had a bigger kitchen and a second bedroom, we'd be good. All our closests are overflowing! We have one specifically for storage, under the bed is packed, and the front "coat closet" has an electric keyboard, and computer bits, in it.

Closer to the second.
Slightly more organised though.

When we moved into our current house, we had hardly anything, and it looked more like pic1, just not as stylish :24:
But, we've been in this house for 9 years, and have collected a startling amount of crap over that time, and had 2 children, who come with an astronomical amount of crap and paraphernalia of their own.

We need a serious de-clutter session :24: :24:

should we call, clean house???

I'm not into all the minimal shit, I like it to look homely and lived in but I don't like it to be clutteredl
My place looks just right at the moment though the missus is a bit of a messy hoarder so it will probably end up back like our old place before we moved.

I've had people tell me that my home looks like a gift shop. :)

Lots of knick knacks, china cabinets, dolls, baskets, decorative tins, etc.

Things are neat and tidy. Not cluttered.

I have downsized some of the stuff. It's sort of like cutting an inch off of long hair. No one really notices but me. :D

I am very neat and organized. Everything has it's own place and nobody better move it or else. I don't save stuff but Mrs.Guyzerr is another story so it's a constant battle between her and I. That's what a fire pit or family was invented for... getting rid of stuff. I usually win.... and then I have to go and buy it again cuz we " need " it. :24:

I am a huge fan of everything having a home. And I try to make things look not cluttered. Which means I wind up with lots of homeless things. Right now, I have a stack of papers on the desk by the door. I haven't touched it in goodness only knows how long. But for some reason it didn't need trashing. I think there's a suitcase lock in there, actually.
