Even with perfect diet and exercise, illness can strike. Do you believe health is mostly self-created, or does fate and genetics play a larger role?

Actually we don't have any control. I know a lot of people who had a very healthy lifestyle yet by the time they reached 60 they had multiple diseases and died before reaching 65 years. Out health is also a result of genes.

We do not have any control over our fitness or health. We can try to be fit and healthy. However, even the healthiest persons can catch horrible diseases due to accidents or other painful circumstances.

We have significant control through our choices, diet, exercise, sleep, and stress management, you name it. However, there is no such thing as absolute control. Genetics, environment, and access to healthcare play big roles too. The key is focusing on what you can influence daily rather than worrying about what’s beyond your reach.

Though we can do little things to stay healthy but we have no control at all. we do the best things for our health, we still may not end up healthy. Doing the worst things doesn't necessarily make us sick.
