I use it whenever I see it at my school. They have some before you go into the dining hall, when you leave the dining hall, at the entrance of any building, and in the bathroom. I have a habit of pinching my cheek, and I know if I don't sanitize my hands regularly that I could get an illness, or at least that's what the signs everywhere says.

I use soap at home. But I do have sanitizer at work. I use it quite often there. Especially after I've rung up someone buying cold products or that obviously has a cold. I also use it after I've cashed in my drawer and am on the way home.

omg yes!! never gave any thought to how filthy money was until i was a cashier! i used it constantly when working at a grocery store!!

I have the pump bottle in the bathroom and kitchen and carry the wipes in my pack; especially if I'm going to be riding public transportation or grocery shopping or visiting my physicians in the medical center.

After washing my hands in a public restroom, I use the paper towel to open the door. Nasty bugs on door knobs; especially in hospitals. :yuk

There are some in the house or water and soap. .. i carry a small bottle with me everywhere when i go out though. I hate the stinky ones.

But you said "I have a pump with a bottle in it"...and anybody w/ reading skills would assume since the ttitle is "how many people use hand sanitizers" that you are referring to a bottle of hand sanitizer. *shrugs*

I use hand sanitizer if I don't have soap and water available. If I'm at work and get something on my hands, I'll use the sanitizer in the room instead of stepping out to wash my hands. And I'll use it at the gym after my workout b/c I get the cleaning spray on my hands when I wipe down my machines. Other than that I always use soap and water. Most hand sanitizer doesn't have enough alcohol in it to be more effective than soap and water. Why people think it's so evil is beyond me. It's not killing nearly as many germs as you think it is.
