Yeah, pretty much the same as the others - the actual question I think was cos he liked your car, but should have definately left out the 'daddy' part, that was very rude and intrusive. You must have a decent car to get a bit of interest more than once though, girl.

i was under the impression- that asking someone questions like how much you paid for something (unless of course, theyre close friends) is like asking someone how much money they make... i thought it was rude... i think it was mostly his tone, and the daddy comment... i'm over it-- i do have a nice car, and i paid with it with my own money- i'm not gonna let the dunkin donuts drive thru guy to ruin that for me

Yea James .. and people wonder why people are so rude to each other constantly. Because they want to be rude first and "win". That is no way to handle a situation, unless you are 5.


He probabaly wouldn't have said the daddy comment if you hadn't of rebuked him the way you did. I'm fairly certain that if you'd said, "I really don't like discussing that with people" .. I guarantee you he wouldn't have made that remark. He might have felt uncomfortable and stammered some response, yes .. but I highly doubt he would have made a rude comment back.

People say rude things when they think people are being smart to them. You don't even have to really be trying to be rude most of the time, for someone to think you were either. It's all in your tone of voice really.
