How Embracing the Oddities in People Can Enrich Our Lives

A young woman was sitting on a park bench, minding her own thing, when a man with unusual characteristics came down next to her and began speaking loudly to her. She was uneasy and unsure how to handle the issue, but she didn't want to be impolite. After a few moments, she decided to take a chance and engage him in conversation. She inquired about himself and his interests, and realized that he was a really intriguing and clever guy with a unique view on life. They chatted for hours, and the young woman learned that people who appear strange or different might actually teach us something.
