I am not trying to humiliate anyone, just curious as to how many years of school we all got collectively under our belt.

I realize the UK and other places have a different form of higher education, and so I will try to adapt it to all of us.

But I'm not that smart so I don't know I will be able. :p

PS _ poll is anonymous.

I've got high school plus a course on basic electricity from a local technical institute and a course on basic accounting from a local junior college. All in the 80's...... I'm proudly unedumacated ;)

I flunked out of college. Needless to say I didn't love college.

College isn't for everyone. My cousin is a welder and makes so much more money than I probably ever will and I am getting my second degree.

I admire people whether or not they have a college degree.

because over elsewheres they got other forms of edumication.

my brother is a computer science major at RIT. He worked for Boeing this summer. He had originally planned on getting his MS, but Boeing told him it wouldn't increase his salary or get him a better job.

I think he's going to get it anyway though.

Sometimes having a masters doesn't pay off.

fuck that.

around here, a bs in cs gets 50-60k, while an ms in cs gets close to 75k.

Which, by the way, I have two years of technology-related coursework or so from the local community college (but did not receive an AAS (Associate's in Applied Science) in Computer Technology, because I left for the 4-year uni).

I am currently a junior (but will probably have to stay one more year after senior or something), studying for a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science, and will be "declaring" a Geology minor shortly.

And go figure, I cannot read English: I selected the wrong option...

My brother is the same way. He tried college twice and hated it. He went into the Coast Guard, has a bunch of technical training now, and loves it.
