Our cultural and familial heritage often influences values, beliefs, and behavior. For some, this creates pride and stability; for others, conflict when personal choices diverge from tradition. How can individuals honor heritage while forging their own identity? Are there ways societies help people navigate this balance?

Heritage gives context for who we are. values, traditions, language, and family history all shape choices and self-perception. It influences how we relate to others and the world, providing a sense of belonging while also offering a foundation for personal growth and individual expression.

I am deeply rooted to my heritage. I wasn't always like this, in my younger days, I tried to cut myself from my heritage but it made me rudderless. As I grow older, I find attached to my heritage. That's because I find identity and sense of belonging when I am connected to my heritage.
