...the dice when it comes to love?

Are you the sort that would fight for it no matter the obtacles, consequences, or taboos against conventional wisdom or do you play it much closer to the vest and consider all of the consequences? Does your head or your heart rule you?

This is definitely more of a philosophical question than a debate...i.e. no right or wrong answers!
 
My opinion on this is:
1: I find the girl to get to know inside & out.
2: I understand the girl for who she is, and I don't care what she looks like.
3: I wait as long as she wants to wait for sex, and I don't pressure her into doing anything she doesn't want to do.
4: I will support her in a sense but not completely to where she can't buy her own things.
5: I will be kind, caring, and understanding of all her opinions, beliefs, and ect.
6: After about 1-4 yrs of being in this relationship, the engagement ring might pop up.
7: After about 10 yrs into a relationship comes the marriage ring
8: Then comes children if she wants any.....

Pretty much..... I will fight for her until I realize she isn't paying any more attention... cause then the fighting is just a waste of time.

I've let my head "try" to rule before, but one cannot tell your heart that he is wiser.

Love isn't thinking that person is the one for twenty years time, or thirty years time, love is knowing that person is the one you need now, the one you want now, and the one you hope will be the one forever. Don't live in the future
 
My head got me into love.... My heart eventually ruled out and kept me in love.

Otherwise it's just lust in the end....
 
You need to use both your head and heart. Someone close to me, as acted mostly with their heart (hormones if you prefer) and has made some questionable choices in marriage. The previous one did not worked out as in "I told you so." The current one is undecided but it's too early to tell.
