How do people with long nails

I grow my nails out all the time. I find it hard to type without my nails, but it can get annoying listening to the click click click all day when having the longer nails.

When I used to get fake nails, I'd have a few days of discomfort and then I'd get used to typing with them. Though what I always found hard was picking up coins from on top of a table. That took some practice.

I'm trying to grow my nails out at the moment because I'm so proud at finally stopping biting them.

the longer mine get the more typo's i do. LOL Once they annoy me, i'll trim them so they are about half a CM past the tip of my finger. I find that length i am just able to miss the other keys with my nails and only use the pads of my finger tips. The only thing if find difficult doing with my nails this length(0.5CM past tip of finger)is not hurting myself or others with them. LOL!!! I usually have to paint them some colour so my eye's register them so i am less likely to scratch myself or someone else with them.

Its gardening time for me here so my nails are lovely and strong from all the hard work of digging in the dirt. I wear leather garden gloves most of the time, but i find when i am putting flowers or plants into some soil it really helps my nails.

I tried fake nails twice in my life.... most annoying things ever. I couldn't pick anything up and the pain i felt after i had them done lasted two days. I'll not do that again. Nope, I like my natural nails they a strong enough and look great.
