A game's reputation can be shaped by its player community as much as its gameplay. Can a toxic community damage a great game, or can a positive community keep an average game alive?

I think game communities play a big role in a game’s reputation. If the community is helpful and welcoming, new players are more likely to stick around. When a community toxic, it can push people away quickly, even when the game itself is actually pretty good.

Game communities shape a title’s reputation by sharing experiences, reviews, and tips. I think active, positive communities can boost interest and trust, while toxic or negative discussions can drive players away, sometimes even more than official marketing or reviews.
