SMH... If you work at a bank you'd think you'd know how to resolve a debit card issue.

I never received my debit card in the mail last month when it expired. It slipped my mind that it expired over the weekend when I tried to buy a drink with it. I went in today to get them to send me a new one and the teller was a numb nut.

My dealings with banks usually works as follows. If I am dissatisfied with what I get from the teller I ask to speak to a manager. Often the tellers are very limited in their training or ability to resolve an issue.

I got the issue resolved. Someone who knew me by name took care of it. The teller actually looked at me like she thought I was lying or something... What would I gain by having two debit cards? It's not like I'm a stranger to this bank; technically it's a credit union.

Credit unions are usually very responsive to their customer's needs. The teller probably did not know what to do. Not really clueless just not trained properly.

Aww, come on, guys...no Trayvon Martin reference yet??? I'm disappointed.

I'm not trying to be ugly, Dana, but once in a while you should try looking at the POSITIVE things in your life. Things like this just aren't that big of a deal.
