How did you learn how to draw?

Did you teach yourself? Did you learn from tutorials? How did you become an artist?

I don't draw these days but in the past I used to draw and paint. When I was a kid, drawing was one of the subjects. However, as I upgraded, drawing was removed from the curriculum. But I kept my passion and continued to self practice.
