How awesome is this?!

So, my brother told me about a film school a few hours away from me that he thinks I should go to when I graduate. I didn't really think much about it, until I started looking into it for a school project. It turns out, Darren Bousman graduated from this exact same school! Full Sail Film School in Winter Park. I'm so hyped :D I'm definately going there after high school now!

From Wikipedia:

He is a graduate of the Film School at Full Sail Real World Education

March 21, 2006

After making his major league directorial debut with SAW II, a film that earned $31.7 million during its three-day opening weekend last year, Darren Bousman has agreed to work his magic once more for a third installment of the film.

Lionsgate Entertainment is again pairing up with Twisted Pictures for the project and plans to release the film just before Halloween – October 27 of this year. Last year’s SAW II opened on Halloween weekend, earning a total of $250 million in box office ticket sales for the first two movies. The sequel also debuted as the number one selling DVD two seeks ago, with 3.9 million DVDs and PlayStationPortable UMDs sold.

SAW III will be Bousman’s fourth directing effort, having previously worked on independent features Butterfly Dreams (2000) and Identity Lost (2001). In addition, the Full Sail Film Program graduate has served behind the scenes on National Lampoon’s Van Wilder and Iron Palm.

Matt, that's incredibly good news for you.
When you're successful, make sure your brother doesn't claim you owe him a commission for finding the school though.
Start looking into the application process now, so you know what you need to be accepted. And it's never too late to start looking for scholarships and financing.
Good luck! I'm proud of ya!

Sounds good! Try and live your dreams dude!:)

Thanks :D
