A little sad... received word from my dad this morning that he had to put my dog down. She was my first dog, a beautiful black Lab... so smart, and heart of gold.

I remember when I lost my first, and only, dog. He was a mongral and got ran over back in the late 90's. >.< Early-morning driver at speed. He used to eat our left-over curry. XD

Thanks. I know my dad is taking it especially hard... she's been with him through his divorce, his kids leaving moving out and leaving home. She was getting just too old, apparently her hips had gotten so bad the last day or two she couldn't stand on her own and they were having to bring her food to her. It's still really sad, but we're at least comforted a little by the fact that she's no longer hurting.
Kinda meh and hungry.
