When you're a dirty hitting team, this is what happens. I will admit that some hits shouldn't be punished, but a helmet to helmet blow that isn't necessary should be fined and dealt with. I think it was appropriate for this man's history of hits.

Oh and one more thing, fuck the Steelers! :p

I am disappointed in Tomlin's reaction too. Harrison was flagged for roughing the passer NOT a blow to the head. It was NOT roughing the passer. The ball was in the air when contact was made. Tony Dungy is up in arms about it. He was outside the pocket running when he decided to dump the ball off. It was a fucking bullshit call. That combined with the hard on that Goodell has for him, he never stood a chance. Goodell is pandering to the coaches and pussifying the game of football. He is one big corporate cock sucker.

I am one of the most objective sports fans you'll meet. My team will get in the endzone, and if it didn't look right, I'll go "ahh was that even a touchdown? looked out." Harrison is making a choice at this point. I think suspensions for repeat offenders makes sense. These guys will keep doing what they do as long as its just their money being threatened. Take away games, hurt the team instead of the bank account? (Suh, for instance and now Harrison) that will get a good organization pissed off, and hopefully get things changed.

I should rewatch the hit in question, because I remember it pretty high to the helmet, and I think I went "god fucking dammit not again...there's a suspension".

I like the idea of graduated sanctions, Harrison included, but I've seen a few shitty calls against him. That said, your reputation precedes you. The bad kid in class always got called out, even if he wasn't really being that bad.

But...to your fuck the Steelers comment, don't be jelly! :p
