Its allways fun tearing into old houses and finding the stuff left behind, just watch your ass when you get behind where the sink is at cause any house over 30 years old is gonna be loaded with razor blades back there. One time I found an old box of paper 20ga shells and a duche bottle from the 70's.

Ok, so now my bathroom floor is completely done for the main part of the bathroom, aside from the closet. I'm 99% happy with how it turned out.

I had to cut out one piece with three different squares on it and I missed the angle by about 2 degrees in doing so.

Here's what I'm talking about.

Before:

After:

See the angled piece going to the tip? Yeah. I had no way of measuring the angle with the tools I had, so I had to cut it off a few measurements and a line. I missed it. That is where the 1% of happiness is lost.

Another angle before:

While I did that, my dad worked on my two drain pipes coming off the main pipe that I showed in my earlier pictures.

Here's downstairs for the sink;

Where it comes up:

Just before doing the sink, he did the bathtub drain. Turned out awesome IMO.

The trap and up to the tub:

I don't envy all the work you've got to do. My parents had to basically tear out the entire inside of our old house and rebuild it. All I really remember from it was I couldn't go in certain parts of the house for a year because of all the dust. Sad thing is, when we moved eight or so years later, we still hadn't finished a bathroom we were converting into something else (it changed from year to year). Hopefully you'll actually finish it all in a timely fashion.

We started on this in mid february when i went to get my water turned on and found the leak when you used the upstairs plumbing. That's why this is ALL getting redone. I've had two weeks of taking showers at my parents, so yeah it's gotta get done fairly quickly so I can use my own utilities.

Son of a...

My sump pump pipe was split open so I went to put on a rubber 1.5" to 1.5" connector piece. Little did I know that while my dad was tearing apart part of my electric, he flipped that breaker on. So the pump was on, and guess what? Being right over the pipe I got soaked in disgusting sewer smelling water when I pushed it down to get the grommet to fit over the pipe.

That pissed me off. lol but oh well, I took a shower and I was doing laundry today anyway. :)

Oh, my dad sawed through his table saw power cord... with that table saw. Leave it to my dad to put the power cord in between the blade and table... haha
