This will be interesting. Fire a gay person for work performance and see the lawsuit that ensues. Why can't the discrimination laws be broad enough to cover everything disriminatory? We have age ones, race ones, sexist ones, and now gay ones. Seems like a lot of wasted paper to me.
Better to have them, than not. Plus you can file a lawsuit no matter what. I don't think its a waste of paper to ensure that people don't get discriminated against for their sexual preference.
That's not what he's saying. He's saying make any discrimination against age, race, color, creed, sexual preference illegal all in one bill under one law.
True, that would make sense to just combine them.
