That's exactly what it does for me too. Oh, I am so glad you can hear music now - music feeds the soul.

You will probably find you like certain music for different reasons - that's how it goes with music, it's good to experience most kinds. :) You will too, there is so much out there. Have fun with it.

Emotional does not begin to describe it. Listening to music brings all kinds of emotions: happy, sad, excited, amazed... How does it do that?

Well, it does it because music is for the soul and that is where we feel our emotins, what makes us feel what we do - it doesn't matter if something is sad and a certain piece of music makes you cry - it clears/regenerates your soul.

Happiness you feel from other music say, is great too, because that just adds goodness to your soul.

Excitement with some music, makes your soul lifted and spirited.

I heard some music tonight that made me think of a very special person to me, who died - it made me cry, but afterwards I felt a bit better. It'll happen again no doubt, but that is ok.

Certain words in music and certain types of music on it's own, mean different things for different people too - it's all ok hun. :)
 
I don't know who's having more fun here...us or Gina!!! LOL

It's so neat to be a part of bringing you new experiences. I just think it's amazing to be able to see you connect w/ music and feel the emotions that it brings. Music is an amazing thing and can touch you like nothing else. I feel so privileged to see you get to experience this now.

Music and hearing is the final frontier. I am so happy all of you post music for me to listen to. Even though I was told about it many times I never really thought it would have such an effect.

Remarkable isn't it? And do you know it's one of the things (hearing) we take for granted.

Here's an absolutely beautiful piece of music for you to listen to and enjoy the video. It's from the X-Files. The video is from one of the arcade games (Playstation/x-box) very interestingly put together. Awesome music and vid IMO. I think you will like this.

I used to watch that when we had it on our channels - well, on the channels I have anyway.

I think Gina will like that - it's an amzing piece of music - just slight vocals near the end Gina, but done in a soft, whispery voice, so nothing harsh. :)
 
After seeing what you have liked here. I think you would really enjoy Massive Attack or Portishead. Both make some of the best mellow chill out music ever made. Here I'll post some.
