I have no content insurance nope
Thankfully, the majority of my items are still fine. Just smoke damage.
The items that are gone and need replacing are not a lot. Have to replace stove, floors, cupboards, counters, a few walls.
Roofs are pitch black. They will need to have something done.
All walls are going to be needed to be washed and re painted.
We are not sure if we will be able to keep our furniture yet. Still looking back into it.
It is not as bad as it could have been if I did not run back into the house and put it out xD
They called me stupid for doing it as it was a grease fire. However, I was not going to be paying no $100,000 in damages xD Right now its in the tens of thousands but still better than it being in the hundreds of thousands.
I was after rushed to the emergency. Was there for 7 hours of them doing tests, sticking tubes up my nose and down my throat. They hopefully cleared out most of the smoke inhalation. They told me if I ever start finding it hard to breathe or lungs feel like they are getting tight to go back asap.
Couple days now past. Seems it is all good.
