broadband....i have a 512 kb dsl line, and after installing fasterfox, pages download about 10x faster than at school, which is at least a 5 mb line. its insane how much faster.

i dont think i want to download firefox tho. im really liking netscape right now. do you know anything for netscape i can do to make the speed faster. its not ungodly slow but it could be faster. i have comcast cable internet but i the area im in makes it slower than it could be.

i just installed it - we'll see how it goes - is it just pages loading faster or does it also help the fact that somtimes ffox can be a memory hog

just helps speed up pages, doesn't do much for memory bog....

oh well - thats my main gripe with firefox. opera also does it sometimes too. i wish i knew more about web browser design - id just go write my own -hehe

yup

i've found so far that it seems to be the most effective for people with a slower dsl connection, don't know if it helps folks with dialup, and i cant tell as much of a difference at work.
