B16= my engine.
B series= always DOHC, and usually has VTEC. (except the CRV B20 and Integra LS/RS/GS B18a/b series engines)
B18c1= 94-01 GSR
EG hatch= 92-95 Civic hatch

when i see/hear engine, i think of cylinders, and pistons, and explosions :dunno

Pretty much.

A B series is just a four cylinder engine ranging from 1.6 to 2.0 liters.

the 1.6 and 1.8 are dohc engines and range anywhere from 160 to 195 hp for the US engines.

There's the old A series, B series (DOHC/sometimes VTEC), C series (NSX), D series (sohc), old F series (accord/prelude), new F series (S2000 engines), H series (dohc accord/prelude), and K series (new civics/RSX).
