Well, last week, my English teacher told me that she wanted to see me after school to discuss this essay that I wrote a little while back. I asked her if it was anything bad, and she said no.

So I just saw her today, and the moment she got my essay and we sat down, she asked "Did you do this yourself?"
So of course I was taken aback by this, and I said of course.

So, after a little explanation, it turns out that the program that teachers use to prevent plagarism on the internet brought up the post I made a while back in the literature section of this forum.

Man, when she thought I might cheating, I almost shat my pants. Glad thats cleared up. But now, she knows where I go in my spare time. Who knows what she'll do, being the psychobitch she is.... o.0

I HATE turnitin.com, they are soooooo inaccurate with so much of their shit...I had something get popped on me this year like that and it SUCKED. By my school's definition, plagiarism is defined as 3 or more words in a row matching. Which is total BS!!!! arg.

turnitin.com is HORRIBLE. They search 9 different search engines, and basically every site ont eh internet is searched for relevance, only the computer can't determine whether something is relevant or not, IMO. What if I said something about the human body in a paper and then it came back as the same three words that were used in Grey's Book of Anatomy? Then I'm SCREWED because according to turnitin.com, that is fucking "relevant". WTFever.. yeah that shit pissed me off to no end. Not to mention that I HAVE posted some of my papers up on here...

Well, according to the Board of Education, she's "retiring" along with a few other teachers next year. But in this case, the Board of Education is giving them money to leave, so they're essentially firing her and saying that she's retiring. I've only got a week left of school, so I don't really care about what she thinks about me now.

Well, by NJ law, we have to be in school for 180 days. I know it sounds weird, but I don't want the school year to end. I dunno, I actually enjoyed school this year, and I have a feeling that next year won't be nearly as awesome. Eh, whatever.
