I nearly cried getting out of bed today, because I overslept and only had 45 mins to have a shower, get dressed, make a sandwich, take some pictures I promised someone and wrap a present.

The sandwich got sacrificed to time in the end. I'm so freaking hungry it's ridiculous.

Heh, that happened to me on Friday, the first day for me working at the show. Keep in mind that I've been on nights and then evenings since January and I'm not used to waking up early. I was supposed to meet the owner and trainer in the hotel lobby at 6:45am. I woke up when my room phone rang at 6:50. The owner was wondering where I was. :ninja. I got dressed and flew out the door. Had to buy breakfast at the show grounds. :willy_nilly: I hate waking up like that.

Just read the whole thread back to myself. It's hilarious reading about going through the application process for the job I am currently skiving to write this. I was so excited about getting work!

Going to have a conversation with my MD tonight, our cleaner unexpectedly quit because he wouldn't give her more hours so I'm thinking of saying I'll do the cleaning as overtime. It'd be less hassle for him than getting someone new in. And it'd be at least an extra 20 hours work a month, which I really need right now.
