Usually an older lady isn't seen as a "hoe." Are you guys really this slow, or is it your connection just making it seem that way? If you read the thread and had any common sense, I don't see why questions like these are called for.

She is gay or Bi. I don't care if she is a chick or not. I am not voting for that hoe.

I doesnt take a political expert to recognize that moderates will not get the nomination in the Republican party when conservatives and particularly the religious right have such powerful sway in the party.

You are ignoring the fact that both of them will need to get through the republican primaries to run. Mccain has problems being seen as a democrat in repubilican's clothing and the Bush smear machine ran him into the ground during the the last primary if you remember. A current example would be to look at the criticism that him and other moderate republican's are getting for comprimising in the Senate on the fillibuster issue. Guiliani has similar issues and holds some socially liberal positions like that on abortion that will get him torn up in the primaries.

Like it or not the harsh reality is that as the republican party moves further to the right, the chances of moderates getting the nomination will be more and more difficult. Hopefully the moderates of the party and idependents will wake up and pull the republican party back towards the centre and futher away from the intrests of the religious right and to a lesser extent big bussiness. Unless that happens, it seems likely that Frist and Jeb Bush are potential nominees that would be the front runners if the republican party follows the same line in the 2008 election cycle. Ofcourse, there is always the possiblity of Mccain running with gulliani or Liberman as an idependent. A pipedream ofcourse but i very attractive ticket that would most certainly get my vote.

The question will be is if your best choice is what a majority of republicans believe is the best choice. Previous elections have shown that republicans have been able to win without comprimising to the centre of America and nominate candidates that more represent an extremer veiw of the party than rudy would. Why would they sacrifice things that they believe in just for someone that they think will have a better shot of winning if they are confident in their ability to win enough electoral votes with their top candidate?
