Could she do it ? of course she could . She is qualified no doubt at all. Would it be the best choice ? -- no not in my opinion.
I read today that Henry K said she would be a good a choice , but it would take "courage " on Obama's part to do it . Thats the problem . The very idea it would take "courage" indicates a potential problem.

All of this when the obvious choice would be Bill Richardson --- smart --educated --experienced and .....well just nobody better .
I have to confess --- he was my choice for President of the United States , so Sec of State under Obama- is a given .
This guy is really talented , and his expertise is much needed now . >f

I thought it was a crazy idea and she would never accept.

I think it boils down to how the democrats handled things this week as they prepared for the next congress.

She is not a flaming liberal. But the congress is moving that way.

This might be a calculated brilliant move to separate herself from the far left who are in control now.

The country will not recover in 4 years and she will have the added experience on her resume.

Unless there is a miraculous turnaround in two years she will leave and start the campaign for president in 2012
