HIIT’s intensity demands recovery days to prevent burnout. Alternate with low-impact exercise. How do you balance HIIT with rest? Any strategies?

I avoid HIIT burnout by scheduling rest days, mixing workouts, listening to my body, and keeping sessions varied and short. Balancing intensity with recovery helps maintain energy and motivation without overtraining.

I haven't tried HIIT myself, and never experienced burn out due to high intensity interval training. I do not see how people could experience burnout with HIIT as it alternates between high intensity and low intensity, thus, making it very interesting routine.
