High Heels

Why? I just don't understand.

I've seen very few women in my life that can actually walk in high heels without looking like they have some kind of spinal injury. Just seen a couple of women walking past right now, holding each other upright along a slightly uneven piece of ground.

For the love of God, why?!

LOL!

I don't wear high heels. I'm 5'6" tall and don't want to hover over the men. :)

..... but when I did wear them.... I could walk in them just fine.

See that's fine, I have known girls that can even run in high heels without a problem. But the majority hobble along like they've just gone ten rounds with a heavyweight boxer, legs flapping about, knees buckling as they wobble from side to side... sometimes it even looks like they're leaning over so far they're ready to empty their mouths into the ringside spittoon...

if my inner encyclopedia of trivial knowledge is working properly, high heels are part of the costume that structurally engineers the female form to accentuate the curves of the lay of adipose tissue on the woman's breasts, hips and buttocks for greatest efficacy in arousing the male libido.

it's quite possible that your perception of spinal injury may also be influenced by the presence of bras and girdles as well as the shoes.

Wearing heels made my legs more pronounced. Not wearing heels has not affected that at all. Just sayin'..... :)

One of my friends always wears heels. She says her legs hurt when she wears something without heels. So I'm not sure if high heels are good for you, in a long period of time that is. So it's difficult to walk in them + their not really good for you... hmm... Women are puzzling :S

I dont get it either! Women say they make your legs look good, well how good are you going to look when you've got back problems or broken ancles ect? I honestly can say that I've never looked at a woman wearing flats and thought I dont find her attractive but I'd be all over her if she was in heels.

I love heels. I only wear them on nights out or whatever, though. They can end up fucking up your feet pretty bad. As far as walking in them and pain? It doesn't hurt and I am 99% of the time very graceful in heels. Obviously they aren't meant to go shopping in or to run errands in, like I see plenty of women do. That, I'll agree, is ridiculous.

I too have wondered why women who clearly are uncomfortable and unable to walk in heals insist in wearing them anyway.

Here we are made to wear high heels during the last year or two of our schooling. It's part of the uniform and is mandatory in most schools. It's supposedly meant to train us to be young ladies :24:

As a result, I am fully capable of wearing heels, but I prefer not to. Like Red, I am pretty tall, and I don't enjoy towering over folks. Also, I don't think they are all that healthy for your feet and back, and I am not taken in by the myth that beauty should be achieved at any cost to your health and wellbeing.

I used to wear heels a lot and closed shoes my feet was in better condition then that is now that i don't wear them too often... because i spend many hours at home i wear nothing on my feet and this give more problems to the feet :( dry feet first then your feet can turn flat and make it harder to walk in any shoes ..i have problems sometimes wearing sport shoes too because i don't wear any shoes most times ...

long ago people used to laugh at me because even in the house i used to wear my heels for hours ..used to tell me take your shoes of be comfortable ..well now am paying when i put any shoes on

people that have problems to walk in heels usually is people don't wear them often (ok few exceptions some can not walk no matter how many times they wear it lol )

and this time going back to wear heel often don't care what everyone will think it is better and how can not
wear this often that's the best ..:p :willy_nilly:
