In fact, while we're on the topic, has anyone ever gotten one of those home remedies to actually work? I caught the hiccups yesterday, only lasted for a few minutes (which was odd).

i didn't try anything, they just came all of a sudden. And so far my hiccups have lasted at least 10 minutes.

I've tried the home remedies before, and I don't think that any of them work. At least they didn't for me.
