Did you hear what happened in our little rinky dink of town Malvern last night? With the State Trooper being shot in the face. That was horrible.

I hate hearing about cops getting shot...

And the guy who did it got away! They had the hwy covered with more state troopers, city cops, sherriffs, helicopters, cops on horseback and everything looking for him. I havent heard yet if they found him. Its kinda scary knowing that some creep like that is somewhere close by.

Im not sure. The state trooper just pulled him over for speeding, I believe. When the state trooper walked back to his cop car and ran the guys drivers license he got back out to walk to this guys car and then this guy just shot him.

Did the cop live? It doesn't sound like it, but stranger things have happened.

Last I heard, he was in stable condition. Thank goodness. He was lucky.
Im waiting for the 10:00 news to come on tonight and see if there is an update on whether or not they found this creep and how the state trooper is doing.

i hate to hear stuff like that. my moms cousin shot him self in the face when i was in my mid teens. still dont know if it was suicide or if he was cleaning his gun cause they did say the saftey dint work and it did have a hair trigger. very cheap gun.

but thats a terrible what happened to the police officer. i really hope they find that asshole and he gets what coming to him :fu

Wow thats sad that some people will just shot someone over a stupid thing like a speeding ticket...

Good thing the cop is doing alright, hopefully he makes it through wwith no complications, and hopefully the guy who shot him gets nabbed and thrown in jail for a long long time

Yeah there were road blocks all over and i was trying to get to Little Rock in a hurry.

Was it Staley? I'm sorry to say it but if it was... he was asking for it. He always plays the bad ass and talks shit to people. We've always said he's gonna pull over the wrong person one of these days.
Sorry to hear if it were someone else though. I hope they catch the guy.

I just heard that the state trooper got to go home today. He was a young guy too. Only 24 yrs old.
And the guy who shot him, they said he has had no criminal record whatsoever. So why he shot the cop, I have no idea.
