If God proves that he exists, then "belief" can't exist.
because once you see God, you cant believe in God,
you just know that He exists.

Belief is such a wonderful feeling.
I believe that my gf loves me.
I believe that my parents love me,
I believe that God loves me.
Iimagine a world without beliefs.

Love is never, and has never been based on logic.

It is a theory in part and a fact backed by science for the rest

Unlike the Ark which is an absolute impossibility

I wonder if somebody has made the same bet that the Ark can not be duplicated

There is nothing that can fully back up evolution. You have a greater chance typing the dictionary front to back alphabetical order in perfect spelling then evolution actually happening. Please show me hard scientific facts that prove evolution.

Basic science does not back evolution theory - Opinion and Column - Jackson Citizen Patriot - MLive.com

"Where did the first cell come from? A cell is a highly complex organism. How did it become such a complexly structured and orchestrated thing without the aid of the genetic-mutation process? Where are the missing links of development between it and the simple elements of nature? Forget about experimentation on this one, there isn't even a plausible theory out there."

Please show me. That a cell so complex that it could mutate into a something that could turn into us suddenly appeared. Also where are these monkeys half human things now? Because wouldn't there still be mutations like this happening now?

you're confusing evolution with abiogenesis. Evolution has nothing to do with how things got here at all.

lol half human monkeys? You do know that humans didn't evolve directly from the great apes right? We evolved separately from them, we're just close relatives. You don't know anything about this subject.

Now, if we were to talk about transitional forms of our ancestors, they actually overlapped each other in their existance. Different kinds evolved differently at different speeds at different geographical locations. Humans came along while some of our early evolutionary ancestors were still around, but slowly dying out, such as Neaderthals. Humans survived and adapted to live on because of our superior intelligence. Our ancestors such as the neaderthal couldn't adapt as well and were unsuited candidates to live on, but we did.

You know I was kidding about the half monkey thing lol. Wouldn't cells have been going through "abiogenesis" again. I mean why did they all of the sudden stop? Because I mean not all of these very complex cells could of died out.

your question doesn't make much sense. Rephrase it?

He meant why did we all of a sudden stop evolving when we got to what we are.

I think.

Well anyway the answer is because we no longer needed to change ourselves to adapt.

We're always evolving, just slowly. Macro-evolutions takes thousands or millions of years depending on the evolutionary trait.

That is why more and more people are being born without molars, thinner hair and smaller tailbones.

Its probably REALLY slow rioght now because our environments are pretty stable. Lets say tomorrow every nuke drops and obliterates most of humanity, and all the survivors are forced to live underground to excape the fallout and radiation. Our bodies would eventually adapt to subterrainian environments over a long period of time because our bodies would get used to it and make the apropriate changes. That is why innuites are shorter in stature, people that live in hot areas are darker skinned and germanic/nordic people have fairer skin.

I don't honestly know why I do believe. I'm a Catholic. Air is invisible, but it's still there isn't it?

I have no solid proof of evidence that God exists nor does anyone else and I don't blame agnostics and atheists for not believing but it's just my choice to do so whether it's right or wrong. None of us know the real truth until we face death.

a refreshing view

Too bad all religious people are not tolerant.

We would have a much nicer world we live in.

Agreed.
I guess I am this way because I'm a modern day Catholic.
If I had been brought up like my Dad back in the 60's I'd probably be completely different.

I agree with the sentiment, but I will point out that air is physical, it has weight, can be felt and is heard with our ears. Ok, waiting for the usual crowd to tell me God can be felt and heard too- no not really, just imagination, emotional, or faith-based conjuration. No scientific basis for God at all. Not to imply that I only limit what is possible to scientific means. It's always possible! :)
