There are many ways to do strimps. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, sautee it. There's, um, shrimp kebabs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo, pan fried, deep fried, stir fried. There's pineapple shrimp and lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich... That's, that's about it.

LOL @ C_B.
Yeah those are ways to cook it, but she asked how to season/marinate it before you cook it.

I've used butter, Italian dressing, lemon juice, oil & vinegar, peppers or onions... singly or in combinations with each other.

Oh. Ok, I'll go with yours, plus chadon Bennie, garlic, salt to taste, ketchup, and some sugar too.

I actually use Sririacha (thanks to Thrawn) hot sauce, but before he turned me on to that .. I used tabasco. The Sririacha just has a better )less harsh) flavor than the Tabasco. :)

Yeah we don't normally cook prawns on the bbq. We normally like our prawns fresh.

But if we do cook them on the bbq, they are normally sauteed.

Um i dont cook Prawns on the barbie.... mainly because they get too tough and taste like crap
if grilled shrimp is tough .. that means it's been cooked too long lol .. when I grill mine they are pretty juicy
