When she bagan to clean up she noticed some liquid where she had cut the salad, her mind raced.

Was she thorough enough when she wiped up the poison?

Tracing her finger through the liquid and bringing it to her nose she noted with great relief it was merely water.

Exhaling a great sigh, she hurriedly finished her clean up and then retired to the living room.

Where she found her husband with a gun.

He had his gun out when she entered the room, at least she thought from where she was in the dimness it was his gun.

But upon closer inspection...

She was shocked to see it was.....

a beautiful, long-handled, crystal perfume bottle filled with her favorite scent!

It had been in the box the mailman had delivered this morning.

As well as the latest issue of National Geographic and some Jergens lotion...

She was glad the last of her belongings had been shipped to her from her locker at gym.

But, then she thought longingly about her personal trainer at the gym and those last few words he'd whispered to her before she'd walked out the locker room door.

Leaving was the best decision at the time, but it didn't stop the course of events those whispers set into motion.

She walked over to where her husband was sitting.

Massaging his shoulders, she aked about his day.
