Depends on what you mean by hard and what you want to do with the horses. Training a horse for anything (I've worked with both race horses and show horses) requires a good deal of knowledge and experience if you want to do it right. Horses that are in training are generally high maintenence so, yeah, in that sense it's hard work...but enjoyable. If you just have horses for your own pleasure you can be a lot more laid back with them.
LOL! Well, I didn't have to pay for it so it wasn't that painful for me.
I love my mom's cooking. Good old fashioned Mennonite food is awesome. I like pasta with alfredo sauce and Caesar salads. Can't go wrong with Mexican, either. The taco platter at Del Rios (small Mexcian restaurant close to where I grew up) is delicious. I'm also a big fan of desserts, especially chocolate ones and cheesecakes. *gets fat just thinking about it*

Yes, ice cream cake is excellent. I like DQ cakes but the ones from Jerry's (local ice cream place a couple of blocks from where I live) are awesome.
You don't have a Jerry's near you. There's only one and it's in Saskatoon.I tasted Bruster's Ice cream cakes they were OK but DQ's is much better. I dont know if there's a Jerry's in my area but maybe someday I will try the cake from there
