OK so I did a bit of research and found the following..

DSC-W80 had issues with bad USB Connections.. This was really bad with Apple Computers but I would imagine it was not exclusive to them ( lots of complaints )..

I would download from Sony's web site the software again and install it again.. Simply because it says everywhere that the Drivers are included in the big bundle that Sony packages for your types of Camera..

You must select what Operating System you use ( Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 or MAC OS )..
