Re: hlep me please

I'm assuming you can see the pics (e.g. see the individual files) but just not open them?

I'm just wondering if the file extension (shooting them as jpg?) has somehow got lost. Try right clicking and seeing if you can use 'open with' to try another program to open them with. I'm assuming windows here of course.

Hopefully it isn't a problem with the camera's storage as you can copy them to your computer (even if you can't open them).

Are they on a memory card??? Maybe it's gone bad or something...that can happen. Try removing the memory card and putting it in your computer directly (if you have a port for that). If that doesn't work you can take the memory card to Wal-mart and try to print the pics off from there. At least then you might can save them.

Re: hlep me please

sounds like your SD card needs to be reformatted, do not do this without moving the pics from your card to your computer first cause you'll lose them all

Fuzz, my first thought on this was that you had a secure lock on the Camera so you do not delete things by mistake.. Is it possible that either you of Mr Fuzz turned it on so you do not delete anything from the camera by mistake ?

Do you happen to have the model number of the Camera so the manual can be reviewed or does this make sense ?

Contact Sony Tech Support.
Try Using Windows camera wizard to import the pictures instead of the camera software.
Get a card reader.

Those are my best suggestions,

Some nice suggestions here fuzzy - hope something helps. Absolutely don't format the card though until you've copied them off. I'm thinking the same as Dex here possibly - that despite not currently being able to open them, the fact that you can still see the small thumbnails of them should give some cautiously optimistic hope that the files themselves aren't corrupted... hopefully.

If you still have your original software, delete & re-load it to your PC . Sounds like your software has become corrupted.
