Can you all give me the lay of the land on this rep thing? I get the little star thing, but what is the etiquette? Or is there one?
I don't want to be rude on accident by not doing something.

I prefer my rudeness to be deliberate and on purpose.

err..this is probably covered somewhere in a FAQ isn't it.....

With that said, be prepared to get it back, and being you're so new, a lot of the senior members hit a lot harder in the rep department.

Rep if I actually LOL, snicker, giggle, or point at my monitor and laugh.

I neg rep if they ask for it (some like it) or if someones asshole got relocated to their mouth.

I have never intentionally negative repped someone, because I know I will just get one right back. That would annoy me, so I'd never do it. It's almost taboo around here anyway.

...unfortunately, I've accidentally negative repped 2 people don't do that either lol! Watch what you're doing, because you may accidentally click the wrong place.

Sometimes I get lazy and don't put anything in the comment box...just means I support the person or their idea, but people bitch when you leave blank reps so think of some dumbass thing to put there.
