Im not sure if I told yall, but I have been having alot of tests being done lately. I have had high blood sugar everytime Ive had it checks, so they did the fasting test on me as well as a few others. Well, today I got a call and she told me that one of the tests came back. She said that I have a cholestrol count over 300. I couldnt hear the exact number because my phone connection was bad. But they want me to come in again and get tested. :( I called my mom and she told me that I have high cholestrol in my family history. My grandfather died in surgery when they were unblocking one of his arteries. (he had complications once they got in there w/ the surgery) Anyways, I just hate having to go get more testing done. :(

I know its not a big deal.

I know exactly how you feel. I had another dr appt yesterday but I canceled it because I am so sick of going once a week and having my blood taken every single time I go. He keeps checking my blood for my thyroid levels because he says they are entirely too high to give me radioactive iodine. This has been going on since September. Last week when I went to have my blood taken again, I lost it. I just started crying b/c I am so sick and tired of it. Know telling how much longer this is going to go on either.

I can sympathize for you. I hope everything turns out okay. If you ever need someone to talk to, you know where to find me. :)

My family has a history of high blood pressure and my dad has had really high cholesterol before as well. A couple months ago I had a physical and my cholesterol levels were excellent (bad cholesterol was low and good cholesterol was above average). My blood pressure was great and my pulse rate was at 56bpm resting (I owe that to all the miles I've clicked off on the treadmill). Really the one person I have to thank is my wonderful girlfriend. She got me to start living a healthy lifestyle with a healthy diet and lots of cardio.
I hope the best for you Veronica!
