Your dreams are based on what your mind captures when you are conscious through sight, thoughts, whatever. So basically you were having thoughts about that guy. Yeah, you cheated.

I'm not sure how to answer this..

Okay, well here's what happened...

My wife shot up from a deep slumber one night and was frantic...

She said "I had this horrible dream I was grabbed and being sodomized by a total stranger"

Annnnd as I pulled my finger out of her butt I said "Oh my God honey.....That's horrible"

You nasty nasty man...... :24:

well i agree with yall. i dont think its cheating. but the reason i ask is cause my friend had a sex dream about me and she was so close to act on it until i had to say no. and shes in a relationship so thats the reason why i said no. but she felt so bad about the dream. it was unexpectant she said. me personally would of felt bad about trying to act on it.

Some people i ask this to say yes it is and some say no its not.

but is having a sexual dream about someone other then your partner conciderd cheating?? in the physical sense it wouldnt be but what are your thoughts on it.

I don't think its cheating as others have said how can you control your dreams - boy if you could I would be inviting my favourite hunks in all the time.

Why not mention this to your lover and see what they say, it may be that they also have the same type of dreams and who knows if you relay each others dreams you might find it adds a little more spice to the bedroom - just my two euros worth.

Some people are of the miond set that dreams don't actually represent what is shown...like if you are having a sex dreams than it is actually your subconcious saying you need....say...more projects completed at work....or something i dont have the guide in front of me...lol

You can control your dreams, it's called Lucid dreaming. You have to train yourself to do it. But has anyone ever been in the middle of a dream and knew they were dreaming? I've done it a few times. At that point I either wake up or can control some part of the dream.

OK, so on the the topic of cheating. To me, cheating is the actual act of having sex with another person. Dreams, fantasies, etc. don't count. If they did, then the government is going to have a fun with 'thought crimes' in the future. What's in your mind is your own, until you act upon it.
