Have you ever hidden a Gift and not been able to find it in time for the event ?

OK so my Ex used to start Christmas shopping in August for the kids..

The problem was she would hide many of them and forget where they were, so by Christmas she would have to buy stuff AGAIN.. It was usually the stocking suffers but still.. Usually we would find them at Spring Clean up..

Have you ever hidden a Gift and forgot where it was ? If so how long did it take before you found it and what did you do ?

I haven't done that but it my mom used to do it quite regularly. I've gotten Christmas gifts in March from her because she either forgot where she put it or forgot that she even bought it until she came across it. :24:

No because i can not wait to give the gift and i remember it well but then again i don't buy any that early ..and if i did i will give it before Xmas... i could not wait from August till Xmas day :24:

Yes! I buy things throughout the year to give as gifts. Sometimes I buy things with a certain person in mind. Other times I just buy things because they are a good deal and I know someone would like them. I used to put them all in different places. Needless to say I always forgot about them or forgot where I put them. Now I have a place in my closet where all gift type of things go.
